Publishing Process

Parrésia Submission Guidelines


Submissions for the Origami Imprint is accepted all year round. There is no window period for submissions. The books will encompass any genre. Origami’s publishing process is a rigorous yet transparent one designed to produce books of international quality both in terms of aesthetics and of language.

The first step to becoming an Origami Author is to send in your manuscript via mail to origami@parresia.com.ng.

All submissions MUST be in the MS Word format [Times New Roman, 12 pts, double spaced].

1. Call for Submissions

 
Authors who would like to have their manuscripts considered for traditional
publishing SHOULD please read the instructions below.

Authors are required to submit a one-page synopsis

and the first three chapters or first fifty pages of their manuscripts to parresia@parresia.com.ng.

All submissions MUST be in the MS Word format [Times New Roman, 12 pts, double spaced] and should be sent in within window period below:


April 1 to June 30
Or during a period we will officially announce and publicise.


A short introduction can be written in the body of the mail. Submissions (i.e. The synopsis or the story) sent in the body of the mail will not be accepted.
 


2. Selection & Indication of Interest

Submissions we find interesting will be selected by our Editors and Authors whose manuscripts we would like to read more of, will be contacted.
