
AdaOkere Agbasimalo was born in Nigeria and was a teenager during the Civil War. After survival the civil war, she went on to earn a degree in French and a PhD in International Relations from the University of Nigeria Nsukka.
AdaOkere Agbasimalo has worked as a programme officer for the Johns Hopkins University Centre for Communications under the sponsorship of USAID, and the Society for Family Health as Gender Mainstreaming Specialist and senior advocacy and documentation manager. She is also the author of Bow You Must and Waves of Destiny.
