Victor Ehikhamenor was born in Nigeria. His fiction and nonfiction have appeared in The New York Times, Financial Times, CNN African Voices, Agni Magazine, The Washington Post, Wasafiri, The Literary Magazine, Per Contra, and elsewhere.  He is also a painter and a photographer whose art and photography has been widely exhibited, collected worldwide, and used for notable book and journal covers, including Chimamanda Adichie’s Purple Hibiscus and Americanah, Helon Habila two novels, Measuring Times and Oil on Water, two Caine Prize for African Writing Collections, and many others.  He was the creative director Next Newspaper in Lagos.

Ehikhamenor is a recipient of the Norman Mailer Centre fellowship, Casa Zia Lina resident, Italy and holds an MSc in Technology Management and MFA in Fiction from University of Maryland, College Park USA
